
FULTON, Miss. – For the second time this season, sophomore AJ Dent (Thomasville, Ga.) has earned Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week, according to an announcement Tuesday.
Dent helped the Indians go 2-0 on the week, averaging a double-double in the process. He scored a career-high 38 points and collected 13 rebounds in ICC's 92-79 win over No. 7 Jones and picked up 10 points and 10 rebounds in the Indians' 75-65 road victory at Mississippi Delta.
He currently leads the Indians with an average of 15.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game and a 63 shooting percentage.
Dent and his teammates will be back in action on Tuesday, Jan. 21, when they host rival Northeast at 7:30 p.m. in the Davis Event Center.
