Fulton, Miss. – Less than 24 hours after picking up a road win over Coahoma Wednesday, the Itawamba Community College men's basketball program won big over Stillman College's JV team to improve to 8-1 Thursday night.
After a slow start, the Indians extended their lead to 44-19 by halftime, and cruised to an 89-46 victory.
Of the available players, 12 accounted for at least one point with recent Morehouse State University signee, George Marshall (Jackson) leading the way with a career-high 24 points.
Freshman guard Josh Lee (Canton) followed with 15 points and grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds for his second double-double this season.
The Indians will travel to Memphis, Tenn. Saturday to face Shawnee Community College at Christian Brothers University. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
