FULTON, Miss. - Sophomore Eric Brown (Greenville) will be continuing his basketball career at Ouachita Baptist University next season.
Brown averaged 8.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in his final season with the Indians. The 6-foot-3 guard scored a career-high 14 points at Shelton State and a career-high six rebounds and five assists at Mississippi Delta Community College.
Ouachita Baptist University is located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The men's basketball team is a Division II program and is a member of the Great American Conference.
Brown becomes the third member of the Indians' squad from last season to continue his education and career on the next level. Brian Halums (Simmons) signed with Ole Miss in November and Joseph Jones (Tupelo) signed with Belhaven University earlier this month.
