McCalmon named new men's basketball coach at Tish CountyJuly 22, 2013McCalmon, a 2007 graduate of Tishomingo County, was a freshman reserve guard playing behind All-American Anthony Brock on the Indians’ 30-4 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College (MACJC) 2007-08 state championship team that finished the season ranked No. 5 in the nation.

Lee, Wells moving on to the next levelJuly 03, 2013Point guard Quintin Lee (Ripley, TN) signed a National Letter of Intent to play for Southern Arkansas University while center Tre’ Wells (Tuscaloosa, AL) signed to take his game to the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
