East Central Community College will be the site for the 2018 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-Star Basketball games on Friday, April 13 with three student-athletes representing Itawamba Community College in this year’s event.

Sophomore point guard Lauren Fitch (Decatur, AL) scored a career-high 18 points and dished out a career-best 9 assists in the Lady Indians’ 77-67 win over Lawson State (AL) Community College on Monday.

A strong second half powered the Lady Indians to an impressive 96-55 victory over Wallace State Community College-Selma to open the 2017-18 season in the recently renovated Davis Event Center on Thursday.

Last season, the Lady Indians finished 17-8 overall and won the MACJC North Division with a 11-1 record while advancing to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 semifinals.
