The Lady Indians' season came to an end after a hard-fought lost to No. 14 Jones County Junior College in the semifinals of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 Tournament on Thursday.

ICC (17-7) jumped out to a quick start after Grace Elliot (New Site) nailed back-to-back three pointers and got six points from Zaida Cox (Ripley) to push the Lady Indians out to 24-18 lead in the first quarter.

The Lady Indians dropped a 60-52 decision to the Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears at Jones County Junior College in the quarterfinals of the MACJC State Tournament on Monday.

Seven different players connected on three pointers, as the Lady Indians went 21 of 29 from beyond the arch in their victory over Wallace State (AL) Community College–Selma on Wednesday.

Zaida Cox (Ripley) came off the bench to match her career-best 11 points and Jabria Pounds (Nettleton) recorded her fourth double-double of the season to help the Lady Indians open division play with a 73-61 road win over Holmes Community College on Monday.
