
FULTON, Miss. – The Indians softball team has earned a spot in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Top 25 rankings, coming in at No. 21 this week, the NJCAA announced on Monday.
Under the leadership of first-year head coach Carson Owens, the Indians have put together an impressive 15-4 overall record. The team has showcased its offensive strength, tallying 158 runs so far this season.
The Indians will look to continue their momentum when they return to action on Thursday, March 6. They are set to travel to Decatur, Ala., where they will take on Calhoun Community College in a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
