FULTON, Miss. – The Itawamba Community College softball team is set to host Strike Out Cancer and Lil Indians Day on Saturday, March 15, at Andy Kirk Field as they take on Jones College in a doubleheader at 1 and 3 p.m. at the Fulton Campus.
Strike Out Cancer is an initiative aimed at raising awareness and supporting those affected by cancer, and ICC Softball is proud to contribute to the fight against this disease through this event.
In addition to supporting a great cause, ICC will also host Lil Indians Day, giving young fans an exclusive game-day experience. Members of the Lil Indians Club will have the opportunity to line up with the ICC softball team for the National Anthem before the first game, allowing them to share a special moment with their favorite players.
As part of the festivities, the young fans will also have a guided tour of the new ICC Softball Complex, where they will explore the state-of-the-art facilities and get a behind-the-scenes look at where their favorite student-athletes train and compete. During the games, they will be treated to snacks on the party deck, adding to the fun and excitement of the day.
