Bryant Nickels brings over 25 years of cheerleading experience—as both an athlete and coach—to his role as Cheer Coach at Itawamba Community College. A proud ICC alumnus, Nickels has a deep-rooted passion for the sport and a proven record of developing talent at both the high school and competitive all-star levels.
Cheer Experience
Nickels has 10 years of cheerleading experience, having cheered at North Pontotoc High School, Itawamba Community College, Morehead State University, and the University of Mississippi. His diverse background has shaped a dynamic coaching style grounded in technique, spirit, and performance excellence.
Coaching Career
A 15-year coaching veteran, Nickels has guided athletes at various stages of their cheer journey. He spent three years coaching at Olympus Cheer in Pontotoc and has spent the last 12 years coaching with numerous competitive all-star cheer programs, helping teams reach high levels of success on both regional and national stages.
Personal Life
Nickels and his wife, McKenlie, are the proud parents of their daughter, Blakely.
