
FULTON, MS - Four Indians added their names to the volleyball record book this season.
Presley Jones (Killen, AL) became the all-time leader in aces with 89. She surpassed the previous record of 74 aces set by Sarah Allyn Thornell (Atoka, TN) during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
Bree Lyons (Oxford) set a new benchmark for career kills with 488, breaking Thornell's previous record of 429 kills.
Kensley Woolbright (New Hope) climbed to the top of the all-time digs list with 874, surpassing Londyn Bakeris (Olive Branch), who held the record with 690 digs over the 2020-21 seasons.
Lexi Pendleton (Germantown, TN) set the single-season kills record with 355 kills in just one season, surpassing Thornell's previous record of 267 kills in 2022.
In addition to these record-breaking performances, Lyons also finished second in career aces with 84 and in single-season kills with 299.
The Lady Indians finished the season with a 19-11 record, tying the program's highest win total, which was set during the 2021 season.
