
FULTON, Miss. – The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) announced its volleyball postseason honors on Monday, and four Itawamba Community College student-athletes earned All-MACCC honors.
Bree Lyons (Oxford) and Lexi Pendleton (Germantown, Tenn.) both achieved All-MACCC First Team honors while Kensley Woolbright (New Hope) was named to the All-MACCC Second Team and Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.), All-MACCC Honorable Mention.
Lyons, who finished her sophomore season at ICC recording 488 total career kills, surpassed former Indian Sarah Allyn Thornell (2021-22) to become the program's new all-time career kills leader. She also led in all-time career service aces with 84. Lyons also earned the conference's first-ever MACCC Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Pendleton made the most of her lone season with the Indians by recording the most kills in a single season with 355, averaging 3.26 kills per set. She also led the team with a .276 hitting percentage.
Woolbright finished her ICC career clinching the all-time career record for digs with 874, which was previously held by former Indian Londyn Bakeris (2020-21) who had 690. She was also the first player in conference history to earn MACCC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Jones finished her sophomore season with a team-best 477 assists, the fourth most in a single season by an ICC player. Her 832 total career assists is second all-time in program history.
The Indians finished the 2024 season 19-11 overall with a 7-3 conference record and an appearance in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 semifinals.
