The Indians ended their doubleheader Friday with a dominant 3-0 win over the Pellissippi State Panthers in the Davis Event Center (25-13; 25-20; 25-23).

The Indians took care of business against Georgia Highlands on Friday, September 29, when they easily took the match in the first three sets (25-9; 25-10; 25-10).

Despite Bree Lyons (Oxford) and Aubrey Swanson (Corinth) each having 12-kill performances on Saturday, September 16, it still wasn’t enough for the Indians as they fell to Paine College in a match that lasted four sets (19-25; 22-25; 25-17; 22-25).

The Indians’ trip over to Hanceville, Ala. for the Alabama-Mississippi Crossover came to a close in a frustrating way as they fell to Wallace State in a three-set match (10-25; 24-26; 14-25).

ICC ended their run in the Chattanooga State Tournament on Saturday, August 26 in a 3-2 loss to the hosting Tigers (23-25; 25-22; 17-25; 25-22; 9-15).

“We’ve worked really hard during our offseason to create a culture that we wanted brand ourselves with,” said Coach Annie McGregor. “Everyone has bought into what we are trying to do, and we are really, really excited about getting on the court.”
