FULTON, MS – The Itawamba Community College Athletic Department has announced that members of their men's soccer and women's tennis programs will continue their collegiate careers in Tennessee.

Men's soccer standout Kit Huddleston of Tupelo will continue his career on the pitch at the University of Memphis and women's tennis' Taylor Patterson of Munford, TN heads to the state's capital to play at Tennessee State University.

Huddleston had three goals, two assist and eight points in 15 games and helped the Indians to a 13-4 record and to host their first-ever home playoff game. He was named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) North All-Star team and earned All-State postseason honors. The defender joins the Tigers who finished 9-7-2 and made it to the quarterfinals of the American Athletic Conference playoffs.

Patterson helped the Lady Indians to a perfect 9-0 regular season record and to MACJC and NJCAA Region 23 Championships with an 8-1 singles record and 6-3 in doubles. She captured individual MACJC and NJCAA Region 23 titles by running the table in the No. 1 Singles bracket. Patterson also helped the Lady Indians earn a spot at the NJCAA National Tournament in Arizona. She joins the Lady Tigers who compete in the Ohio Valley Conference.
