Brandon Butler
Head Women’s Soccer Coach

Brandon Butler was named head women’s soccer coach at Itawamba Community College in 2026. He joins ICC after serving as an assistant coach and interim head coach at the University of Indianapolis during the most recent season, following two seasons on the staff at Pearl River Community College where he helped elevate the Wildcats into one of the top junior college programs in the country.

Butler’s coaching résumé includes a top-10 national ranking at Pearl River in 2024, plus Region 23 and Gulf South District Championships in 2023 and 2024 and back-to-back NJCAA National Tournament appearances. He worked primarily with goalkeeper development and defensive organization, helping Pearl River post the lowest goals against average in program history while mentoring multiple student-athletes who moved on to four-year programs.

Before his time at Pearl River, Butler spent four seasons as head coach at Picayune Memorial High School, building the program into a consistent postseason contender and developing several collegiate soccer players. His background also includes coaching stops with Gulf Coast United and Hattiesburg Futbol Club.

A United States Marine Corps veteran, Butler served as an infantry squad leader before transitioning into coaching. He earned a master’s degree in interscholastic athletic administration from William Carey University and a bachelor’s degree in sports coaching education from the University of Southern Mississippi, with academic work that also includes strength and conditioning. The Picayune High School graduate is married to his wife, Amy.
