Raymond, Miss. – Four second half goals led Itawamba Community College women's soccer to a 4-0 victory over Hinds Community College Friday afternoon.
Freshman Macey Riggs (Hernando) led the second half charge scoring two goals including the game's first goal early in the second half.
Brianna Huckaby (Saltillo) netted her team-high seventh goal of the season that gave the Lady Indians a 2-0 lead, and Riggs followed with her second of the game to extend the lead to 3-0.
In the final seconds of the contest, Camryn Summerall (Brookhaven) scored her second of the season to finish off the 4-0 victory.
Keepers Inna Vannula (Finland) and Megan Davis (Guntown) combined for the shutout victory with nine total saves.
The Lady Indians have another tough conference showdown Tuesday when they host No. 4 Holmes Community College. Opening kick is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will be available on LetsGoICCTV.com/red.
