Fulton, Miss. – The Lady Indians won in dominating fashion Friday to wrap up North Division play and extend their win streak to 12.
Sarah Whitt (Pontotoc) netted a pair of goals and Ally Shinall (Oxford) scored the game's first goal to give the Lady Indians a 3-0 lead at halftime.}
Emily Hayward (Oxford) extended the lead at the 53rd minute and Grace Joyce (Oxford) scored the final goal of the game at the 65th minute.
The shutout victory was the third straight and the seventh for the season. The Lady Indians finish the division schedule 7-1 and improved to 13-3.
The Lady Indians will finish the regular season next week with a road game at Southwest Tennessee Tuesday at 6 p.m., and will host Meridian Friday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. on Sophomore Day.
