FULTON, Miss. - The Lady Indians secured a spot in the MACJC playoffs for the second-straight season with a 2-0 win over East Central Community College on Friday.
Freshman forward Deanna Christie (Liverpool, England) scored a pair of goals off assists from Malarie Scott (Saltillo) and Addison Meadows (Oxford).
Freshmen keepers Merrie Kate Grayson (Tupelo) and Haley McGill (Saltillo) combined for their third-straight shutout victory. Grayson had 5 saves in the first half while McGill added 7 saves in the second half.
The win also tied the team record for most wins on the season as the Lady Indians improved to 9-5 overall and 5-1 in the North Division.
