Lady Indians open North play with win over Hinds

RAYMOND, MS -- The Lady Indians rebounded nicely from their 7-0 loss to Jones by defeating Hinds 4-0 on the road on Friday.
ICC turned up the heat defensively and broke open the scoring when they forced Hinds into an own goal five minutes into the contest before Ashley Malone, Susan Shea, and Haley Walker would each would add a goal in the second half to pull away for the 4-0 victory.
"This is a huge win for us," said ICC soccer coach Mike Sullivan. "Hinds is very talented program and one of the toughest places to place in the state and to pick up a win like this at their place is a very rare feat for anyone."
Hannah Rayburn had a pair of assist while Walker added another in the victory.
