
FULTON, Miss. – Sophomore guard Jestiny Dixon (Foley, Ala.) has earned her second-consecutive Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week recognition, according to an announcement Tuesday.
Similar to the week before, Dixon was a key player in the Lady Indians' success last week, picking up a double-double in two games. In ICC's 75-68 win over rival Northeast, she led the Lady Indians with 28 points and tied a career-best 12 rebounds [VIDEO]. She followed with a 15-point, 10-rebound outing in the Lady Indians' 42-41 road victory over No. 16 Pearl River.
Dixon currently leads the team with an average of 13.3 points per game, which is 13th in the MACCC.
The Lady Indians will be back in action on Thursday, Jan. 30, when they travel to Decatur to face East Central at 5:30 p.m.
