Fulton, Miss. – Itawamba Community College sophomore guard Demetria Shephard was named to the NJCAA Region 23 All-Tournament team.

The Pontotoc native averaged 20.5 points per game during the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament. Shephard scored 26 points in the Lady Indians 70-64 win over Northwest and 15 points in the quarterfinal's loss to Pearl River.

Shephard helped the Lady Indians to a 15-10 record and led the team in scoring with 14.6 points per game and 365 total points. She finished with 46 steals, 23 assists, 13 blocks and 99 total rebounds.
