Pounds, Hatcher earn MACJC All-State honors

FULTON, MS – Sophomore guards Jabria Pounds (Nettleton) and Marlee Hatcher (Pontotoc) were selected to the MACJC Women's North All-State Team.
Pounds averaged 16.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game to earn a spot on the First Team. Hatcher averaged 15.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per to be named to the Second Team.
Both were selected to participated in the MACJC All-Star game, where POunds earned MVP honors.
The duo helped lead the Lady Indians to a 17-8 overall record, a third-straight North Division title, and the NJCAA Region 23 semifinals.
Pounds was also named to the NJCAA All-Region 23 team.
