The Lady Indians' season came to an end with a 59-39 loss to No. 13 Blinn (TX) College in the first round of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Women’s Division I Basketball Tournament Monday.

Itawamba Community College battled East Central Community College in the MACJC Women’s Championship Game Thursday night, and despite their efforts, fell 75-63.

Last season, the Itawamba Community College women won the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 title to advance to the NJCAA National Tournament for the second time in three seasons.
