Indians comeback falls short against Hinds

Fulton, Miss. – After falling behind 4-0, the Indians put together a hard-fought comeback, but ran out of time falling 4-3.
The Indians (7-4, 3-1 MACCC North) faced a 4-0 deficit after Hinds final goal at the 64th minute, but refused to give up and quickly got one goal back as Jose Villanueva (Maylene, Ala.) scored moments later to cut the lead to 4-1.
At the 82nd minute, Cameron West (Glasgow, Scotland) cut the lead in half with a goal on a penalty kick, and Villanueva cut the lead to one, five minutes later with a bicycle kick goal.
The Indians put together a few more scoring chances in the closing minutes, but were unable to net the equalizer, dropping the 4-3 North Division to Hinds.
Next up for the Indians is a North Division road test against No. 19 East Central at 3 p.m. Friday.
