FULTON, Miss. - Freshman kicker Eli Burciaga (Corinth) was named Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the Indians' win over Coahoma.

Buricaga continued his impressive freshman campaign by going 3-for-3 on field goals, making kicks of 44, 27, and 22 yards, while connecting on 4-of-4 on extra point attempts to account for 13 points in the Indians' 37-14 win at Coahoma.

The Indians will be back in action Thursday when they host No. 6 Holmes Community College (6-0, 3-0 MACCC North) for Homecoming. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Eaton Field with Homecoming Festivities starting at 4 p.m. in and around the Davis Event Center.
