
ICC sends 14 to the next level on first day of mid-term signing period

FULTON, MS – The nationally ranked Itawamba Community College football program had 14 of its sophomores sign National Letters of Intent to continue their education and career at the next level on the first day of the mid-term signing period.
During their time in the red and blue, the sophomores won 11 games including upset victories over teams ranked in the top 5 nationally and finished the 2017 season ranked No. 10 and had two players earn NJCAA All-America.
Tyree Bryant SO DE 6'2 230 Southaven, MS UT-Martin
Bryant finished the season with 31 tackles (20 solo; 11 assists) with 4.5 sacks for a loss 27 yards. He had 2 forced fumbles and 3 pass breakups with 1 blocked kick.
UT-Martin is a NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) team and are members of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). The Skyhawks are coached by Jason Simpson.
Dan Ellington SO QB 6'2 190 Olive Branch, MS Georgia State
Ellington threw for 3,211 yards and 27 touchdowns with 7 interceptions on 230 of 353 passing while rushing for 392 yards and 8 touchdowns on 111 carries. He is the first Indian to throw for more than 3,000 yards in a single season. Ellington's honors this season include: MACJC Offensive Player of the Week, NJCAA All-Region 23 Team, MACJC First Team All-State, MACJC Offensive MVP, JCGridiron All-America Team, NJCAA Second Team All-American.
Georgia State competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and are members of the Sun Belt Conference. The Panthers are coached by Shawn Elliott.
Daylon Fox SO LB 6'1 240 Southaven, MS Faulkner
Fox finished the season second on the team in tackles with 66 (41 solo; 25 assists) with 4 tackles for loss, 2 sacks and recovered two fumbles.
Faulkner is a NAIA school that competes in the Mid-South Conference and is located in Montgomery, AL. The Eagles finished the 2017 season 7-3.
Jalyn Galmore SO OL 6'5 295 Batesville, MS Texas San Antonio
Galmore anchored the offensive line that helped the Indians average 483.9 yards per game and score an average of 42.4 points per game. He was selected to the MACJC All-State Second Team.
UTSA is a NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team and are members of the West Division of Conference USA (CUSA). The Roadrunners are coached by Frank Wilson.
Jarvis Hayes SO LB 6'4 225 Slocomb, AL Troy
Hayes was one of the Indians leading defensive players as he finished with 63 tackles (39 solo; 24 assists), 8 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and 3 interceptions, including 1 he returned for a touchdown.
Troy competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and are members of the Sun Belt Conference. The Trojans are coached by Neal Brown.
Preston Haynes SO OL 6'5 305 Olive Branch, MS Southeast Missouri State
Haynes was part of the offensive line that helped the Indians average 483.9 yards per game and score an average of 42.4 points per game.

Quinshay Heard SO DB 6'2 195 Hamilton, MS West Georgia
Heard finished the season with 54 tackles (44 solo; 10 assists) with 1.5 tackles for a loss. He had 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 interception returned 30 yards, and 5 pass breakups.
UWG is a NCAA Division II team and are members of the Gulf South Conference (GSC). The Wolves are coached by David Dean.
Devan Hollins SO DB 5'11 205 Southaven, MS UT-Martin
Hollins led the Indians with 71 tackles (48 solo; 23 assists) while recording 1 sack, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 forced fumble. Honors this season include: MACJC Defensive Player of the Week and MACJC All-State Second Team.

David Little SO DB 5'10 175 Saltillo, MS UT-Martin

Chris Long SO TE 6'5 245 Nettleton, MS Texas Southern

Jacquez Neilson SO DL 6'2 330 Oxford, MS Henderson State
Neilson helped anchor the big defensive front for the Indians last season and picked up 8 tackles (3 solo; 5 assists) and a half tackle for loss.
Henderson State is a NCAA Division II team and are members of the Great American Conference (GAC). The Reddies are coached by Scott Maxfield.
Travis Sailo SO DL 6'3 285 Tuscaloosa, AL Troy
Sailo was part of the strong defensive line where he picked up 21 tackles (12 solo; 7 assists), 4 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, a forced fumble and blocked a kick.

Christian Saulsberry SO WR 5'8 180 Southaven, MS West Alabama
Saulsberry had 41 receptions for 510 yards and 2 touchdowns while rushing 6 times for 12 yards and was 1-1 passing for 31 yards and a touchdown

Terry Williams SO WR 5'10 175 Southaven, MS UT-Martin
Williams finished his final season in Fulton with 1,095 receiving yards to become the Indians' all-time leading receiver. He had 9 touchdowns and 79 catches while averaging 121.7 yards per game and 13.9 yards per catch. The Southaven alum returned 6 kickoffs for 191 yards and a touchdown, averaging 31.8 yards a return. He was selected to the MACJC All-State First Team, NJCAA All-Region 23, and the JCGridiron All-America team, NJCAA First Team All-American. He was named to the NJCAA All-America Second Team as a freshman.
