Indians ranked No. 19 in final NJCAA poll

FULTON, MS – The 2016 football season came to an official close last weekend and the Itawamba Community College football program caps off the year with at No. 19 in the final National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Rankings that were released Monday.
The ranking is the Indians seventh time in the NJCAA polls this season, and earned their highest ranking on No. 10 in week three.

After starting the season unranked, the Indians jumped to No. 11 in week two after their week one 23-12 upset win over then ranked fourth Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
The Indians, who finished the 2016 season 5-4, are joined in the final NJCAA Rankings by four other Mississippi Association of Junior and Community College (MACJC) North Division teams, East Mississippi (2), Northwest (6), Holmes (7) and Northeast (10).
