Itawamba Community College’s Cody Shelton has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his education and football career at Livingstone College.

Ripley natives Dorian Gaston and Isaiah Howard have signed national letters of intent to continue their careers as student-athletes with the Lamar University football program next season.

Sophomore running back Octavious Matthews signed a national letter of intent to continue his football career at the University of Kansas on Wednesday.

"We did lose some really good players off last year's squad," said Cannon. "I think we were able to get some guys to come in to replace those guys in those positions. I feel like the first official day that we were able to meet a lot of our needs."
