Jones named Defensive MVP in MACJC All-Star game

Sophomore Terrance Jones (Bruce) earned Defensive MVP honors for the North after recording seven tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks in a 21-10 loss to the South in the MACJC All-Star Football Game this past Saturday in Biloxi.
D'Andre Belton, who played wide receiver for the Indians this season, filled in at QB for the North squad. The Winnsboro, SC native completed 10-of-27 passing for 82 yards and 2 interceptions and rushed for 27 yards on 9 carries.
Stanley Higgins (Starkville) had 5 catches for 53 yards.
Daniel Johnson (Coldwater) had 5 tackles, a tackle for loss, and an interception while Ladarius Gallion (West Point) added 3 tackles, Artez Williams (Greenwood) had a tackle and broke up a pass, and Kendarius Hibbler (Tunica) recorded a tackle.
