BILOXI – Hinds' Decory Magee had a pair of interceptions to earn overall MVP honors leading the South to a 21-10 victory over the North on Saturday in the MACJC All-Star Game, presented by Paw Paw's Campers and Cars.

The South rallied from a 10-0 deficit behind touchdown receptions by Gulf Coast's Jevon Floyd and Ishmel Morrow in a 36-second span sandwiched around halftime.

Floyd was named Keith Daniels Offensive MVP Award for the South, catching four passes for 42 yards. Northeast's Tiberias Lampkin earned the Hubert Tucker Offensive MVP for the North after rushing 15 times for 92 yards and the touchdown.

Itawamba's Terrance Jones won Defensive MVP for the North, getting seven tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks. Co-Lin's Scooter Jones won Defensive MVP honors for the South with nine tackles and a broken-up pass.

Magee won the award named for James H. "Wooky" Gray.

The North got a 26-yard field goal by Jacob Meeks before Lampkin's long touchdown scamper to build its lead.

Floyd caught a 35-yard pass from Jones' Kelvin Bourrage to set up their 7-yard hookup for the South's first score, 26 seconds before halftime. Bourrage finished 7-of-11 for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

The South seized the lead on the first play of the second half when Bourrage hooked up with a 70-yard bomb to Morrow. Pearl River's Matt Williams later found Co-Lin's Matias Robinson for a 14-yard pass for the final margin.
