FULTON, MS – Brad Hoiseth of JCGridirion.com recently released his JUCO Wide Receiver Rankings and ranked ICC's Jacquez McMillian as the No. 17 Top Prospect from the 2014 football season.
"This is a great honor for Jacquez," said Coach Sean Cannon. "A guy with his speed and size has a lot of potential to go on and do big things as a wide receiver on the next level."
The 6'4, 200 lb. sophomore from Southaven totaled 233 yards on 12 catches for an average of 19.4 yards per catch while hauling in three touchdowns receptions. As a freshman, he was second on the team with 32 catches for 441 yards and three touchdowns.
"He is fearless when it comes to catching the football, but he's also a very unselfish player," commented Cannon. "He'd be the first guy in the end zone celebrating with his teammates after they scored and he'd be in the mix blocking down field for our running backs."
McMillian, who is rated as a three-star wide receiver by Rivals.com, is currently committed to Central Arkansas, but also holds offers from Arkansas State, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, North Texas, Southern Miss, and Troy.
"We are excited about seeing what the future holds for Jacquez," said Cannon.
