Former Indian Demarius Howard (Calhoun City) wasn't known by many entering the University of Southern Mississippi spring game, but the Bennie Abram LEGACY Award winner opened many eyes with his break out performance on Saturday.
Howard hauled in 4 catches for 76 yards and a touchdown for the second most yards in the game behind Jarell Aaron's 80 yards on 7 receptions.
As a sophomore, he had 21 catches for 275 yards and 3 touchdowns after recording 103 yards on 8 receptions as a freshman while totaling 28 yards rushing on 12 carries in two seasons at ICC.
