Three Indians earn All-MACCC postseason honors
Three ICC baseball players have been named to the 2025 All-Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Teams, as voted on by the league’s head coaches.
FULTON, Miss. — Three ICC baseball players have been named to the 2025 All-Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Teams, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Freshman pitcher Jud Files of Mooreville earned a spot on the First Team after a strong debut season. He went 9-2 across 14 appearances, including 11 starts, and threw 69.2 innings. Files gave up 55 hits and 25 earned runs while striking out 108 batters, averaging nearly 14 strikeouts per nine innings. His 3.23 ERA and 1.41 WHIP helped him anchor the ICC pitching staff. His 108 strikeouts also set a new modern-era program record for a single season, breaking a mark that dated back to 2006.
Sophomore infielder Jude Treadaway from Blue Springs was named to the Second Team. Treadaway batted .374 with 65 hits, 15 doubles, and six home runs in 48 games. He drove in 39 runs and reached base at a .463 clip while playing steady defense throughout the season.
Also earning Second Team honors was sophomore outfielder Evan McCarthy of Saltillo. McCarthy hit .337 with 12 home runs and 41 runs batted in. He tallied 27 extra-base hits and finished with a .669 slugging percentage and a .446 on-base percentage.
The Indians finished the year with a 26-22 overall record, including 13-15 in conference play. The team went 17-9 at home. Head coach Rick Collier recorded his 700th career win on April 18 with a 16-7 victory over Hinds.
