Former Indian named GLSCL All-Star

Former ICC pitcher Ben Aldridge has been selected to play in the 2015 Great Lakes Summer College League (GLSCL) All-Star game in Mason, Ohio.
Aldridge (Tupelo) is sixth in the GLSCL with a 2.30 ERA and his 37 strikeouts on the season is third most in the league. He has 4-3 record and has notched a pair of saves in 43.0 innings of work for the Xenia Scouts (20-15).
In two seasons at ICC, Aldridge went 9-7 with three saves and 76 strikeouts in 87.1 innings pitched.
After his career with the Indians, Aldridge signed with the University of Arkansas-Monticello. He finished his junior season with a team-best 2.85 ERA with 34 strikeouts to go 1-0 on the season while picking up a pair of saves in 41 innings pitched in a team-high 18 appearances.
The GLSCL All-Star Game will be Tuesday, July 21 at 7:05 p.m. at Prasco Park.
