Last season at ICC, Poole led the Indians in numerous offensive categories last season by hitting .378 in the leadoff spot, picking up 12 doubles, four triples, six home runs, 46 runs and 39 RBI. His standout sophomore campaign earned him Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-State team and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 23 honors.
The SCBL All-Star Game will be held Sunday in Charlotte, NC at 7 p.m. As part of the All-Star festivities, Poole and the other all-stars will have tryouts for pro scouts prior to Sunday's game.
