David "Pete" Randle played football and baseball for then Itawamba Junior College from 1957 to 1958.
After graduating IJC, he was a football, baseball and basketball official for 35 years; member of the Mississippi High School Activity Association (MHSAA); assigning secretary of District I basketball; assigning secretary of District I baseball; MHSAA Official of the Year in 1996; member of the Junior College Football Officials Assoication for 16 years; president of the Junior College Officials; football and basketball official for junior college for 10 years; and a member of the Gulf South Basketball Officials for 6 years.
Randle also coached American Legion Baseball in Amory for six years.
