Soccer teams named NJCAA Academic Team of the Year honors
June 30, 2014“We are really proud for both our teams,” said Coach Mike Sullivan. “This is a huge accomplishment and honor for both our squads and for the college. We came close last year and all the players made this part of the goals they wanted to achieve this season and we can’t be more proud to see all their hard work in the classroom get this type of national recognition.” -
Soccer tryouts announced for February
January 29, 2014Tryouts for the women’s squad will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. while tryouts for the 2013 MACJC North Division champion men’s team will go from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the ICC Soccer Complex located near the Davis Event Center and Eaton Field on the Fulton campus.

Lady Indian soccer team shines in the classroom
December 25, 2013“Most of the time this is a worrisome part of the year for coaches, but the past two years our girls have dedicated themselves in the classroom as much as they have on the field,” said Carson. “We couldn’t be any prouder of the group of young women we have representing our program as well as the college.”

December 23, 2013With a 20 percent increase in graduating student-athletes during the 2012-13 school year, the John C. and Earnestine McCall Halbrook Improvement Award and a check for $1,200 was presented to ICC President Mike Eaton.

August 28, 2013“This has not been an easy start to the season for the girls,” said Coach Mike Sullivan. “Opening the season with Delta State and then facing a Meridian team that will be in the mix for the state championship at the end of the season is tough to ask of any team. We have a lot of young girls that are having to adjust to the collegiate level of play in a hurry, but you want to play up a level to help you get better as the season progresses.”

Soccer to host Meet the Indians on Saturday
August 12, 2013Fans purchasing tickets will enjoy a pre-scrimmage lunch while receiving a t-shirt, hat, soccer program and poster. Lunch will start at noon with player introduction estimated to begin around 1:00 p.m. followed by intersquad scrimmages.
