Lady Indians shine in NJCAA tourney despite opening-round loss
March 19, 2013“These girls represented ICC, the state of Mississippi and themselves well today,” said ICC head coach Nanci Gray. “I am extremely proud of the girls. We asked them to leave it all on the floor… that’s exactly what they did and there is no reason for any of them to hang their heads after this loss. There were some people that thought we had no business being here, but they can’t think that any more after today.”

Baker, Lynn earn All-Region 23 Tournament Team honors
March 11, 2013Ty-Nita Baker (Houston) and Ayanna Lynn (Gentry) were named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 23 Tournament Team after helping lead the Lady Indians to the program's second-ever region championship.

March 11, 2013Itawamba Community College sophomore guard Ty-Nita Baker (Houston) was named First-Team Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-State and was selected to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 23 team on Monday.

March 11, 2013The Lady Indians (19-9) will be the 22nd seed in the 24-team field and will face 11th seeded Northwest Florida State Lady Raiders (24-4) at noon on Tuesday, March 19 at the Salina Bicentennial Center in Salina, Kansas.

Lady Indians face Southwest MS to open MACJC tournament
February 22, 2013The Itawamba Community College women’s basketball team will enter the MACJC State Basketball Tournament as the No. 2 seed from the North and will face the Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears Monday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, MS.

December 04, 2012The Houston native scored 30 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to help the Lady Indians nearly upset then No. 6 Shelton State Community College and scored a game-high 21 points in a 80-55 win over Northeast Mississippi Community College.
