“Autumn is a big recruit for us,” Kirk commented. “She has been recruited and offered by a lot of four-year schools so we are very fortunate to have her coming to ICC. She has a lot of power and can play a lot of different positions which is very valuable for us.”

Sophomore pitcher Rebecca Sloan (Oneonta, AL) continues to make Itawamba Community College softball history as she was named the program’s first-ever National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region South team selection for National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II colleges on Tuesday.
This award is a reflection of all the hard work and dedication the girls put into the season. The North Division Champion Lady Indians (31-12-1, 18-6 North) were scheduled to take on the South Division's No. 4 seed Pearl River Community College (24-20, 13-11 South) Friday afternoon at 2:00, but will now face the Lady Bobcats at the same time on Sunday.
