FULTON, MS – The Itawamba Community College football team dropped to No. 20 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) football poll after losing to Coahoma Community College 47-41 in double overtime on Saturday.

The Indians (5-2, 3-1 MACJC North) were one of three Top 20 teams to lose to unranked opponents last week as No. 2 Jones County Junior College slipped to No. 6 after suffering a 24-20 loss to Hinds Community College and No. 19 Louisburg fell out of the Top 20 after their 42-39 loss to Atlanta Sports Academy.

East Mississippi Community College moved into the No. 2 spot with Georgia Military hold strong as the nation's top team. Copiah-Lincoln Community College jumped two spots to No. 5 while Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College moved up a spot to No. 7 and Hinds takes over the No. 16 spot after being unranked last week >>> click here for complete poll.

ICC will look to rebound as they play host to Northeast Mississippi Community College (3-4, 3-1 MACJC North) with a spot in the playoffs on the line Thursday night.

"Northeast is all we are focused on right now," said ICC head football coach Jon Williams. "We have to get back to playing the type of football we were earlier this season to get back in the win column and hopefully have a shot at making the playoffs."

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Eaton Field. The game can be heard on WAFM 95.7 (Amory) and will be streamed live at LetsGoICC.com.
