FULTON, MS - Coach Nanci Gray recently announced sophomores Julianna Garner (New Albany) and Raylin Starks (Cordova, TN) have signed to continue their careers at Blue Mountain College.
The duo help lead the Lady Indians (23-7) to back-to-back National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 Championships and back-to-back NJCAA National Tournament appearances for the first time in school history.
Garner, a 5'10 guard, averaged 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. She was second on the team after shooting 33-percent from three while connecting on 71-percent from the free throw line.
Starks, a 6'0 forward, averaged 2.5 points and 2.4 rebounds per game while shooting 75-percent from the charity stripe in limited minutes after being hampered by injuries during her sophomore season.
They are the second and third members of the ICC women's basketball team to continue their careers after two seasons in Fulton with fellow sophomore Ieysha Mays signing with Delta State University.
