Two Lady Indians earn spots on MACJC All-Star Team

FULTON, MS – The Region 23 Champion Itawamba Community College women's basketball program will have two representatives on the north squad at the 2016 MACJC All-Star Game.
Sophomores Alontra Tucker (Lamar) and Ieysha Mays (Mound Bayou) were selected to the North Division All-Star team.
Tucker averaged a team-high 10.3 points and 4.2 assist this season and scored a season-high 19 points in three different contest.
Mays, who is coming off a career-high 21 point performance in the Region 23 title game, averaged 8.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season.
The duo helped lead the Lady Indians (23-6) to their second consecutive Region 23 title, as well as, the North Division crown this season.
This year's MACJC All-Star Game will be held April 15 at East Central Community College. Tip off for the women's game is set for 5:00 pm.
