Four Lady Indians earn spots on MACJC All-Star team

FULTON, MS – The Region 23 Champion Itawamba Community College women's basketball program will be well represented at next month's MACJC All-Star Game as four Lady Indians have been named to the North Division squad.
Sophomores Jayla Chills (Ripley), Kaelin Kneeland (Olive Branch) and Jeronia Allen (Minden, LA) were all selected to the North Division All-Star team while sophomore Lanikki McMillian (Pontotoc) was named as an alternate.
Chills, the NJCAA Region 23 Player of the Year, averaged 19.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.9 steals per game this season.
Kneeland, who along with Chills earned Region 23 All-Tournament Team honors, averaged 12 points and 8.8 rebounds per game and finished the season with 14 double-doubles.
Allen averaged 11.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game and McMillian averaged 6.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.9 assist.
The quartet helped lead the Lady Indians to a 23-5 record, a MACJC North Division title, a Region 23 championship and a spot in the NJCAA National Tournament in Kansas.
The MACJC All-Star Game will be held at East Central Community College in Decatur on April 10. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.
