Chills named MACJC Player of the Week

FULTON, MS – For the fourth time this season, sophomore guard Jayla Chills has been selected MACJC Women's Player of the Week when the league announced its weekly awards on Tuesday.
The Ripley native averaged 25.7 points, four rebounds, just under four assists, and one steal per game to help the Lady Indians win the 2015 NJCAA Region 23 Championship to earn a spot in next week's NJCAA Women's National Championship Tournament in Salina, Kansas.
Chills scored a career-high 34 points in the Lady Indians' win over previously unbeaten No. 16 Copiah-Lincoln Community College in last week's Region 23 semifinals.
ICC will face No. 18 Wabash Valley College (24-6) at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16 in the opening round of the national tournament.
