Kneeland, Chills earns NJCAA Region 23 All-Tournament Team honors

FULTON, MS – Sophomores Kaelin Kneeland and Jayla Chills were named to the NJCAA Region 23 All-Tournament Team after leading the Lady Indians to their second region title in three years.
Kneeland (Olive Branch) averaged 17 points and 7.7 rebounds per game this past week in Clinton. She recorded her 14th double-double of the season by scoring 21 points, one point away from her season-high, and collecting 10 rebounds in the Lady Indians' 84-64 win over Jones County (20-8) in the championship game.
Chills (Ripley) averaged 25.7 points, 4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1 steal per game. She scored a career-high 34 points in the Lady Indians' 82-75 upset victory over previously unbeaten and nationally ranked Co-Lin (27-1) to advance to the championship game.
ICC will participate in the NJCAA Women's National Championship Tournament at the Bicentennial Center in Salina, Kansas. The tournament opens on Monday, March 16 and will conclude with the championship game on Saturday, March 21.
