ICC players shine in MACJC All-Star games

DECATUR, MS - The North women and South men captured the MACJC All-Star games at East Central Community College on Friday night.
Mississippi Delta Community College's Ashanti Spencer scored 13 points to earn MVP honors in the North All-Stars' 81-69 win over the South All-Stars in the opening game of the evening.
Latoya Collins (Jackson) scored 4 while Lytia Coleman (Memphis, TN) added in 3 points in the win.
Twymond Howard of Southwest Mississippi Community College took home MVP honors after scoring 20 points in the South's 121-117 victory over the North All-Stars.
Tory Rice (Starkville) had 11 points while Johnthan McGee (Jackson) added 6 each in the loss.
Alex Anderson (Memphis, TN), who was recently named second-team NCJAA All-American, was on an official visit to East Tennessee State University and did not participate in the event.
