Lady Indians fall to Meridian, 83-72

MERIDIAN, MS - Five Lady Eagles roster scored in double figures in Meridian's 83-72 win over the Lady Indians (3-2, 0-0 MACJC North).
Meridian connected on 51-percent of their shots and made 19-of-28 from the charity stripe while the Lady Indians only manage 38-percent from the floor while going to the line 9 times and making 8 of those attempts.
Latoya Collins (Forest Hill) and Lytia Coleman (Memphis, TN) paced the Lady Indians with 11 points each. Coleman recorded her third double-double of the season adding 11 rebounds in the loss.
Victoria Stewart scored a game-high 23 for Meridian with Miaya Crowder scoring 22 points and grabbing 15 rebounds.
ICC will return to the hardwood after Thanksgiving when they play host to nationally-ranked Shelton State Community College on Monday, December 2.
