FULTON, Miss. - Former ICC golfers Kirk Reeder (Tupelo) and Nick Brown (Mooreville) signed to continue their careers as student-athletes at Blue Mountain College on Tuesday.
The duo help lead the Indians to the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament during their sophomore season after finishing fifth in the MACJC State Tournament in April.
Reeder carded a two-day total of 159 (+15) to finish a season-best 17th in the MACJC Championships at Wolf Hollow Golf Club in Wesson. Brown also had the best showing of the season with a 166 (+22) in the Championships.
During their high school careers, Reeder helped Tupelo High School win six MHSAA state championships and earned medalist honors on the Pros of Tomorrow circuit. Brown won a pair of district championships as a member of the Mooreville High School program.
Brown and Reeder will join fellow Indian Andrew McDonald (Fulton) who signed with the Toppers in November.
