The Itawamba Community College men’s basketball program has sent another player to the next level with Ma’Darius Hobson signing with Ouachita Baptist University, which is located in Arkadelphia, Ark.
In the quarterfinals of the MACJC Tournament, the Indians drew No. 2 ranked and undefeated Pearl River. Despite a hard fought and well played game, the Indians fell 78-57.
After wrapping up the regular season Thursday night, both Itawamba Community College’s basketball programs will take on Pearl River Community College in the first round of the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Tournament next week in Scooba.
