Brown, Taylor selected to MACJC Men's All-Star game

FULTON, MS - East Central Community College will be the site for the 2017 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-Star Basketball games on Friday, April 14 with two student-athletes representing Itawamba Community College in this year's event.
Sophomores Charles Brown (New Orleans, LA) and Quenten Taylor (Edison, GA) were selected as members of the men's North Division team.
Other members of the North Division squad includes: Cortavious Miller, Coahoma; Keelin Jackson and Donte Sterling, both of Northwest; Zach Hudson, Kendall Stafford, and Kendarius Smith, all of Northeast; Malik McNair, Holmes; Josh Skinner, East Mississippi; and Jabarie Escoffery and Michael Sission, both of Mississippi Delta.
Coaches from Holmes Community College will serve as head coaches for the North Division all-stars.
The South Division men's team includes: Jaylon Bardley and Tonzell Handy, both of East Central; Trojuan White, Hinds; Xavier Howard, Leito Holloway, and David Davis, all of Jones; D.J. Mitchell, Meridian; Davion Cole-Johnson and Winston Morgan, both of Mississippi Gulf Coast; Eli Arcement, Pearl River; and Guy Johnson and Emanuel Thompson, both of Southwest.
Coaches of Jones County Junior College will be the head coaches for the South Division all-stars.
The women's game will start at 5:00 p.m. and the men's game will follow at Brackeen-Wood Gym in Decatur. The games will be streamed online at holmesccmedia.com and access will also be available at eccc.edu/eccc-media.
