Chuck Burhorn, a graduate of Amory High School, was a center for
the basketball team at Itawamba Junior College in 1963 and 1964,
playing for Coach Buster Davis.
The 1964 team was undefeated in regulation play. His teammates
included current first vice chairman of the Itawamba Community
College Board of Trustees Dan Bishop.
Burhorn’s transcript lists activities including basketball,
baseball, football, track and A-Club. Burhorn graduated from
Itawamba Junior College in 1965 and earned the B.S. degree from the
University of Mississippi and the law degree from Jackson School of
Law.
